The cat at the end of the trailer is actually an alien species named Chewie. I have a feeling the after credit scene is the cat causing Fury to lose his eye.

I was not a fan at all of Larson when I caught 21 Jumpstreet remake, but she changed my mind in Room. So when I saw she was cast, I thought it was an ok choice. Now I have my doubts. Thinking about some of these other actresses in that role, they couldve gone a different route for the better

Interesting the origin movie has modern elements. At least I think so.
That is an F-22 in one of the shots.....95 is a touch early for that.

In the original Avengers Fury justified his subterfuge and weapon making on the discovery of powerful aliens when Thor came to Earth. Now he’s running around with Captain Marvel decades before that event. Plot hole? Continuity error? Or will this be explained away?

Plus, as Tony Stark says, he is the spy. Even if he already knew about aliens it would completely be normal for his character to lie about it.

If you remember the moment Peter Quill mentions Ronan to the buyer on Xandar, he says he wants no part of anything Ronan is involved in and makes Peter leave. The trailer indicates that this Captain Marvel is some sort of Human / Kree hybrid.
And I'll say I was pretty pumped for this movie but this trailer left me disappointed. I like Brie Larson but her delivery seems so stilted and lifeless. There's no charisma. Of course, we're not getting a ton of dialogue here, so maybe it will be better taken as a whole.

I mean he couldn’t fly, shoot energy blasts or what not. He was able to hold a infinity stone and he had the staff/hammer that had the shockwave. Without the stone it seemed like Thor or even Ironman could have dispatched him fairly easily. Also the dude played by Djimon Hounshou is Kree and Drax killed his arse.
