Meh looks kind of boring until the money shot at the end. She feels bland. Not bad but not good. Just bland. It took Evans a few movies to settle into Cap so I wouldn’t panic yet.

I dont know if its her voice or her delivery, but she doesnt "sound" imposing with gravitas. Dont know, maybe its the writing, but the trailer didnt make her seem very heroic?

Sounds like a bad read hopefully it's just laziness in the trailer edit and not Bri putting in a bad performance

Looks meh but I’m going to see it anyway because I have daughters and it will be visually awesome and I love choking down movie popcorn and nachos with a barrel of coke and hopefully getting lost in the story and for 2 hours pretend I’m 16 with no responsibilities and bonus if it’s a good movie.

Well looking ahead we have the Avengers 4 trailer, Spiderman trailer, and Godzilla trailer to look forward to in the coming days

Yeah...I agree here. Her voice just doesn't fit the part.
I'll still be seeing it - Samuel L will likely knock it out of the park and they'll have some fun with it being in the past, etc. I think the overall story line could be good (and could also suck but Marvel has done well here).
I worry about giving two @#$@ about Carol because Brie gets lost in all thats going on, but I think they'll tie her together with a lot part of the plot revolving around her figuring out who she is and running around with Fury, etc.

I think Feige will really need to knock the F4 casting out of the park for Phase 4. I like Cumberbatch and Bozeman but I don’t think they’ll be able to carry it going forward unless Holland takes a major leap and becomes a bigger focus of the Avengers. Larson can’t carry it either.
Avengers will need a strong presence in Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman and probably a strong Human Torch

Superheroines shouldn’t speak with vocal fry.

I wasn't blown away by the trailer but it didn't suck either. I didn't care for the goofy take on Fury or how a lot of shots of Brie were just for iconic looks. Marvel has been ridiculously solid with their movies so even if it "sucks" it will still be better than most other movies.
