Mel Gibson, unlike most all of his contemporaries, still has all of his prime charisma and on screen presence.
Which saddens me even more that he will likely never be in another Mad Max movie. I think George Miller thinks he's too old now or too risky to lead a huge film, but grizzled old man Max wandering the wasteland would simply be one of the best things to happen to movies in a long long time.
Just imagine if this guy were still in our lives: LINK

Frank Grillo is good, but is he really lead actor level ? I guess we'll find out. From the trailer though, I get a Free Guy, Ground Hog Day sort of vibe here. It's different, but maybe not that different... Hope it does well.

Put it on, saw the machine gun guy, immediately was like "is that Rob Gronkowski".
Spoiler, it's Rob Gronkowski.

Will Sasso is the least intimidating "tough guy" ever.

Pretty cool movie but very hard to get past the Groundhog Day thing at first.

Pretty fun.
Two complaints. The ending was meh. Kinda just happened. Also, after seeing Will Sasso at the beginning, I was really hoping for something, anything from him, but he was wasted.

Yeah, the ending was pretty garbage. Other than that it was pretty entertaining though.
