Opened last night. Stars Kaitlyn Dever (youngest daughter on Last Man Standing) and Beanie Feldstein (Jonah Hill's sister, best known for Lady Bird?).
Pretty hilarious. It's trying to be this generation's Superbad, but with females. I was skeptical after the first few minutes, but it got better in the middle.
Directed by Olivia Wilde. Warning for those easily triggered by modern SJW trends: lots of LGBTQness and social commentary like a situation showing the low pay of teachers.

Does Olivia make any appearances?

No, but her husband is in the movie.

Yea it seems like a straight ripoff of Superbad updated for today’s outrage culture

Also was in Justified

Unless Olivia Wilde is naked in this movie, no fricking chance I see this shite. Looks like trash and looks like the worst comedy ever created.
Posted on 5/24/19 at 6:50 pm to TouchedTheAxeIn82
lot of outrage in here

RT got me again I confess.
Saw it this afternoon and was the only person in the theater.
Forgettable in every sense of the word and an absolute atrocity that it will be likely canonized with classic teen raunch comedies.

It's already available from "sources". :/

Did Olivia Wilde really make a call to gender to try and save her movie
That is just sad and pathetic.

Wilde tweeted Saturday, "Anyone out there saving @Booksmart for another day, consider making that day TODAY. We are getting creamed by the big dogs out there and need your support. Don't give studios an excuse not to green-light movies made by and about women."
That is just sad and pathetic.
