That's what you think. In this next movie, we'll find a ripped up photograph showing Bond and Blofeld together, but with a mysterious third person missing in the ripped off portion. We'll soon find out that Idris Elba was the missing third person, and is actually their adopted brother. They'll finish the movie with him taking on the moniker of 007 to set up future movies in the series.

It's hard to get excited for this knowing that Craig doesn't even want to do it - even when Boyle was attached to it.

Spectre wrapped up his time as Bond just fine. Time for some fresh meat.

Takes some of the luster out of it for sure. He just wants to keep cashing those massive paychecks.

I think Craig is a fine Bond, he's just been let down by some very uninspired and confusing scripts.

I’m on record as saying I hate the brooding and moody Bond. Craig hating the role just exacerbates the problem. But you are correct that he hasn’t been helped by the shitty scripts.

Interesting choice. I hope this means he can make the darkest bond yet.

I do, too. But it's just going to get worse from here. In the day and age we live in, it's just impossible to go back to the Bond character we all know and love unless they completely reboot the franchise (again) and have it set back during the Cold War.

You mean the common tactic for an actor to negotiate more money?

That’s a hell of a pickup to helm it. Much better than I expected
