If you like queen you’ll like Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s very good.

It is very good.

It is also about the life of Freddie Mercury. If you are upset at two dudes kissing or discussing such, you should be aware of Mercury's life.

Great movie, but go back and learn about the actual history after you see it. Freddie didn't know he had AIDS until a couple of years AFTER Live Aid, and of course then did not inform his mates right before the concert. Plus they had just finished a world tour, so they were not broken up.

However, that performance did raise their stature in the rock world again.

It was very good. Brought back some nostalgic memories. Mercury was definitely an eccentric personality.

I was into old country when I rolled in to college in 1982. NLU, which is now ULM, had the Elbow Room, with a giant tv, and we got to see the advent of the original MTV.

My SO at the time was into some weird shite, by my standards, ….Boy George, Prince, and this lil ole group called Queen....well, I got to watching them and listening….

Ole Freddie Mercury had a 5 octave range, and could sing his arse off!!!

My memories are of him at Live Aid, and the audience clapping in unison with him to Radio GaGa. There's no doubt that his audience loved him, and that he loved his fans!!!!!

YouTube it, it's a great scene, and watch the audience response.

Saw them in the Centroplex the summer of 1980. Still the best concert I ever saw.
