is hearing your kids use the dramatic narrator voice around the house

Could it be? The lost granola bar of 2022?

I sure hope Rick and Marty live long enough to get some answers

I like the Ancient Aliens "If so"

Some ridiculous assertion is proposed

Pause

Followed by "If so" then something related to aliens

"Could the moon really be an ancient base for other beings to watch us and take our gold"

"If so, Earth is a gold farm for aliens around the galaxy"

Have Ancient Astronaut Theorists ever suggested “no”? That’s the real question.

I'd love to be there for the narrator's first take for each episode.

I've followed the Oak Island story since I was in grade school, reading about it in a book of unsolved mysteries that also included the Mary Celeste.

With Oak Island, silly as this show has been, I think I have some answers:

1. The "tunnels", insofar as there were/are tunnels, are part of an illegal fish salting operation dating back to the late 18th/early 19th century (or otherwise are remnants of past searches, not some secret valut).

2. Most of the other mysteries are due to superficial artifacts left on this island by centuries of ship traffic and the relatively unique nature of the soil and saltwater intrusion when it is dug into (which then confounds any attempt to dig and rule in/out the so-called treasure which I am increasingly of the opinion was a prank/troll).

The amount of effort that has been put in to attempt to solve the mystery over the past 150 or more years has become ironically more interesting and intriguing than the original mystery itself.

It always surprises me that this show is still on, I don’t have cable. So about every 6 months or so my dad mentions something about it and I am always amazed it has been on for this long and that people watch it.

My FiL watches it religiously and is convinced that they’re going to find something.

We razz him about it every time and he defends the existence of treasure with his dying breath.

I loved one where they found a fragment of iron or something and spent the rest of the episode speculating on if it could from an ancient Roman nail used in road building.

I watched the first couple of seasons of this when it first came out. I had been interested in Oak Island since I watched an episode of In Search of back in 1979.
I realized I'm just wasting my time on this show watching guys did through mud only to find coconut tree fibers. I'm sure others love it but it's a giant waste of time for me.

168 episodes in and Terry Matheson still has not been invited into the war room. That’s the real mystery

This show has been on for almost 10 years.

Will it run for another 10 perhaps ?
