I like the new celebrity theaters on Coursey. They let you fill your own drink up, and there seemed to be even more leg room than normal. I didn't have to pick my feet up everytime someone walked down my row, which i understand probably isn't an issue for people under 5'10".

Plans to add a bowling alley, laser tag, and bar and restaurant to the theatre.

I like that you can reserve your seat there.
But ultimately I always just end up going to the theater that has the most convenient time, whatever that is.

I would also recommend Celebrity. The renovations are pretty great. Cheetos popcorn plus drink refill station inside the hallways leading to the theaters. Very convenient and very much enjoyed my most recent visit there. IF you're like me and don't enjoy the Movie Taverns but like the reclining seats and leg room, then give this place a shot.

Warning, the seats at Celebrity have those swinging table tops that can be constricting for guys who are not tiny waifs.

Then again, the mango margarita ain't bad.

Just place your gut on top of the table. Problem solved.

Celebrity.
3.50 lower than amc on large drink and popcorn
Tuesday’s are $5, plus 3 for digital movies

Have they fixed the screens at Celebrity? I went to see Rogue One there and the seats and theater and filling up your own drink with free refill were all good, but there was a noticeable tear in our screen, and the screen was old and too small

AMC on Oneal now has recliners and reserved seating in all theater rooms. And a Dolby cinema which is the shite

This! The Dolby theatre is the best theatre in BR!

The Dolby Theater at the AMC on Oneal is damn awesome. Imax can’t touch it. Every seat has a built in subwoofer. I think it’s the only one in Baton Rouge. My only complaint is the seats only partially recline unlike the rest of their auditoriums which have fully reclining seats. It may be because of the subwoofers.

Last time I went to O'Neal half the theater was still under construction and the entire place still smelled like flood water

Not an issue anymore. Can't wait to see a good movie in it. Last Jedi is the first movie I have seen in it.
