What did they talk about? What is happening in the countryside of Westeros after the NK battle? Are the small folk talking about the dragon queen? Who knows. D&D apparently don’t care about any of that.

Season 8 desperately needed another episode or 2 to flesh stuff out.

First rule about living in the north: don’t mention Arya saving the world

Second rule about living in the north: don’t mention Jon came back from the dead

My favorite scene last episode was hound telling Arya not to follow him. When he said “Look at me!” That really got her attention which is hard to do since Arya is so determine when she sets her goal.

Another personal move t is when she called him my his first name. It’s was her version of hey, I got something important to tell you and it gets his attention because she never called him “sandor” before.

The “thank you” was the icing on the top. It shows that you can be a strong, female character and express gratitude at the same time. It shows your humanity and humbleness. I wish Sansa would’ve done the same because the hound really went out of his way save her and protected when he has no business to do so. And to a person who had a tough childhood(burning face) and life reach out to help, you need to thank and acknowledge their deeds.

Loved that scene. The Hound was probably a Top 3 character for me - maybe even my favorite.

My favorite thing is they took a trip all the way down there, and the Hound waited until the sky was falling to warn the girl about her obsession with vengeance and that the girl who was run entirely by a spirit of revenge for seasons just suddenly listened to it.

Yup.

It was about the only time anyone showed true kindness to Clegane in the series.

Up till that point the plan was slip in, kill Cersei and Arya was gonna leave.

Once Dany decides to wreck shite it was clear Arya couldn’t both kill Cersei and get out of the Red Keep.

The situation changed and he’s talking her out of a suicide mission.

We had to have someone we cared about, not just some random peasants, running around in the destruction for it to matter. Based on D&D's own words, that's why she was there. Great, huh?
