Two iconic action stars. If one or the other had never been born, who do we miss the most?

I give the edge to Stallone due to his writing.

From strictly a cinema standpoint? Arnold had three different careers and excelled at all three. Impacted way more people in his life.

If one wouldn't have been born, the other would've gotten all of their roles.

I could handle Stallone as The Terminator, but Arnold couldn't have sold it as Rocky.

First of all, you’re forgetting Rocky. Second, Stallone created Rocky. Without Arnold, there probably still would have been a T-100 and Dutch. Without Stallone, there is no Rocky at all.

Rocky is good, I can live without it though.

Still worth mentioning over a Judge Dredd and Demolition Man, don’t ya think?

Arnold has the greater catalog but because of the writing Rocky is the greater individual achievement IMO. I feel like JCVD just scoops up a bunch of late 80s-early 90s Stallone's stuff, probably making all of it worse, and obviously isn't doing Rocky.
I don't even know who's stepping into Arnold's roles, Lundgren? That's just a no.

I mean, I was listing movies I liked. It's my post. Why so bent out of shape over it?

Arnold by a mile.

Y’all think Stallone could pull off Kindergarten Cop?

I don’t think so.

Seemed like an intentionally biased post, like listing Kindergarten Cop and not Terminator for Arnold.

Arnold had more great movies, Stallone had the best movie.

Wondering why you left off Stallone’s biggest franchise and one of the most iconic characters isn’t getting bent out of shape. It’s a super obvious question

Yeah, he could've sold it as Drago and that's about it. He sold that whole Russian thing in Red Heat.

Arnold could've easily done Rambo but he definitely isn't pulling off a Philly boxer sounding like he just got off the boat from Europe.

They're both just living off a couple characters now but the concept of Sly's can age better than the Terminator. True Lies might be the only one of Arnold's hits that's doable for a sequel now. Actually, Kindergarten Cop would be the best but I don't think there's a market for that.

Last Action Hero
Twins
Junior
Jingle All the Way

Tell me you’d be okay with Stallone taking those roles. Ahnold just has more range.
