They are too comedic and not epic enough. This video has me hype: viking music.

Thor 2 was dark and sucked

Ragnarok was hilarious and didn’t suck

One of the main thrusts of Thor is that he is always so out of place with his language, thoughts, and how Asgard plays into Midgard. So no, TR was closer to traditional Thor than any other film, and was a great blend of that kind of Thor with other versions.

It’s fricking Thor. Of course it’s cheesy.

Valid question. I've only seen the first Thor and Ragnarok. I like the humor, but agree that it could be more epic.

Thor - pretty good
Thor: The Dark World - not good
Thor: Ragnarok - outstanding

Yes. I didn't even make it to the end of Ragnarok. It reminded me too much of the horrible Batman sequels of the 90's.

Thor was pretty damn epic in Infinity War.

To answer OP, yes I think Thor was too cheesy before Ragnarok, but they've made Thor way more badass and added enough humor to offset the cheesiness.

Yes and it’s why they’re awesome.

Yes. The first 2 are very cookie cutter as chris Hemsworth isnt really a great enough actor to carry a bland script.

I think that's why Taika Waititi was brought in for the 3rd one, to spice it up a bit and break out of the cheesy bland superhero cookie cutter writing the previous 2 movies suffered from.

That is the worst take I've seen in a long time. Awful!
