Can't really tell. Is it one of those where the whole movie is "filmed" from the camera the kids have? Kind of like paranormal activity? That's what it looks like.

IMDB lists it as a comedy horror. I don't know what to think about a comedy horror written by M. Night.

If it is a horror/dark comedy, I'm definitely gonna watch it. The last good one was Drag Me To Hell.

Saw a screener a couple nights ago. The movie was actually pretty dang good. MNS really went minimalistic with this one, and it worked. It was very(purposely) funny. Its not that scary, so some will be disappointed, but it does do a good job of keeping the tension throughout the film.

Saw it at a pre screening. It is pretty funny for a horror movie. Minimal "scary" parts, it had some of the jumping in front of a camera scary parts. Two parts made me wince. And one frame will always be with me. Would not pay full price, but worth a matinee or rental.

ETA: the whole thing is not in the filmed from my phone view, just a couple of spots. Maybe 10 minutes worth.
