This is probably my favorite channel I sub to. He basically breaks down historic movies and tv shows and explains what they got right and what they got wrong. Here it is below if you’ve never watched. Do yourself a favor, it’s super interesting.

I've watched all of them.

He eviscerates The Patriot and Braveheart.

From what I remember he's high on Zulu and Gettysburg.

I mean, he really hates The Patriot...and not really a fan of Mel Gibson maybe because of it.

Because he also hates on Apocalypto.

Yeah, I watched the Waterloo one today and he basically praised the movie and director the entire time. Said it was so close to actual history he had a hard time finding things to nitpick.

Really dig the channel. Ha...yeah, he doesn’t seem to like Mel Gibson very much...ripped Braveheart, The Patriot, and Apocalypto. Waterloo was his favorite in terms of accuracy from what I can tell. I liked his vids for Goodfellas, Apollo 13, Dunkirk, and Band of Brothers, but they’re all good.

I think there’s also a channel that does something very similar, History vs. Hollywood maybe. Both are pretty good, and I’ll have to go back and watch them both, but as I recall one guy seems to forget that he’s talking about movies and not documentaries.

The Patriot and Braveheart are super inaccurate but still very entertaining films.
