I have a lot of movies and tv series I get tired of switching out dvds: is it easy to add dvds to plex? I’m not too computer savvy and also do I need internet to watch my movies on plex?

You can rip copies of your movies to your hard drive and build a local library to use via Plex server. You are able to access your plex server without internet as long as you have a router setup to manage the connection at your home. My internet will sometimes go down but my plex library is still accessible as long as I am not remote to my home network.

Plex is easy to use, just have to rip your DVD's/Blu Ray's to a hard drive. As others have said, you just need a home network and you can watch on your TV.
When on internet you can share with a buddy, and your able to watch his movies as well.
