So true. It's sad what's happening to the industry.

I suppose the Falcon and Winter Soldier series on Disney+ is about to be dark and made for adults only.

Perhaps he is salty because Disney is going to kill him off on the small screen?

It's an older video. That has nothing to do with it.

Nothing crazy as far as takes. I’ve seen everything he said here on the MTV board

But coming out and saying that as an actor making money off of it is bold. And he’s a good public speaker, he delivered that really well

Case in point. World War Z.

Great book. Would make a great mini series. But the idiot scriptwriters dumb it down to where it comes off as an unintentional comedy instead of serious horror or sci fi.

True. I try watching some of the blockbusters and find myself wondering what sort of slack jawed moron would watch it and think it was a good movie.

If anything belongs on netflix or prime, it's world war z. What a fantastic book.

The battle of Yonkers, done well, could put any GOT battle to shame.

I've always liked Anthony Mackie. Dude seems like a cool, down to earth guy you could have a beer with. Actually learned a few months ago that his brother has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and was who hosted the "Rocket Day" in City Park for getting kids potentially more interested in STEM fields.

WWZ would definitely be better suited as a series. I feel like HBO would be capable of bringing the book to the screen the best. I feel like if Netflix handled the material it would turn out subpar. The BoY would really need an entire episode and budget to be done right.

Yeah, nothing really crazy, I think he was just talking about changes in the business since he started in it. Reasonable to look back and talk about those changes.

Like he said, Hollywood movie studios might not make The Goonies today, but we get Stranger Things on Netflix.

I think the streaming services are filling a void, and it's just hard to process all the changes taking place in this transitional time we're in.

I love me some WWZ.

But Yonkers wasn’t even the most interesting set piece of the book.

But even if it was for you, it still doesn’t have shite on the book version of the Battle of the Blackwater.

Yeah, the first victory would be a good one. He'll, the way the book is written, you could use different director and scriptwriters for the different stories

Also, the European castle sieges and maybe some of the more process driven chapters on how the disease was spread. Like the illegal organ trade.

Each chapter an episode. So many good stories. What made it such a compelling book was how seriously max brooks took the subject matter.

It's been years so i forget the finer points but what about the indian battle where that general basically lays out the blueprint for defeating them?
