How in the hell does he get on TV? The guys a no talent bum. I haven't seen him do anything worth watching

He’s the epicenter of gay/ Bravo/celebrity culture in NYC. He’s an inch deep and a mile wide, has that surface effect that appeals to people who like celebrity culture and reality tv. People find him very likeable, particularly the women and gay men who love that network .

I think he low key has one of the best late night shows on TV. Dude gets pretty much everyone to come on and is one of the few hosts that seems to get people to act like their real selves when he interviews them.

Because he pretty much created the Real Housewives franchise which is a huge cash cow for Bravo.

I don't think most people realize this.
This is the exact answer. He makes money hand over fist for Bravo so they basically let him do whatever the frick he wants.
I actually think he is a pretty solid host TBH. Always been amazed at the level of celeb he gets for his show.

I mean people always have stuff to plug and in the end it’s still a talk show no different than Jimmy Fallon or Kelly and Michael.
Plus dude seems like a genuinely likable guy with pretty good connections so his A-list level guests don’t surprise me that much.

Those three are from Below Deck Mediterranean. It's a reality show about the crew of a sick arse yacht.
The wife loves this show and I'll watch from time to time. It can be fairly amusing and the scenery from the places they go is pretty awesome.

Before there were the Housewives series, there was Project Runway. It was a hit, back then, and Bravo was trying to get another half hour of viewership, so Andy sat down and talked to people from PR for half an hour.
His lazy eye meant nobody saw him as confrontational and maybe helped people relax.
The rest is history.
