watched the first hour. At first I was thinking they finally cut out all of the BS auditions then screaming freak shows up.
ole baw was pretty good. guitar looked like a toy in his hands.
potato chip girl was kind of weird. in fact the whole potato chip thing was weird. and Katy had to restrain herself when luke threw a chip at her.
the chick with the glasses was much better behind the piano than with the guitar.

The Vietnamese girl was impressive. I never understood how people can barely speak english but sing english perfectly.
The judges' job is supposed to be find people who actually have a chance to win this contest. Burping girl and the dancing gay guy with the weird hair have no shot in hell at winning.

I might watch the live shows, but not the auditions. The top 14 list is already out there. I didn’t watch at all last season.

the auditions are maddening.
I liked the girl in blue who played her original on the piano and the rejected her. but, the big girl with the guitar sucked and the put her through.

I thought the girl who sang her original song that they rejected... the song was better than 99%of country music out right now.
Alejandro looks much older than 24 to me but that was amazing. Hope he goes far .

I'm a grown arse man but I'll fight anyone who gets on me for loving American Idol.
Nothing on TV gives me goosebumps like when someone walks up for an audition looking like they are going to be terrible, they open their mouths and out pours the voice of an angel while the judges Jaws drop.
Shayla (the blind teenager) made me cry. I'll meet anyone at sonic who has anything to say about that.

Agree about shayla.. she has every reason to be spiteful and have a piss poor attitude about her blindness yet she has such a radiant smile and an amazing voice .
Made me stop and wonder what I have to bitch about when life could be much tougher .

yeah, the board regularly rips on people who watch Idol, Survivor, Big Brother. Or any other network tv shows.
