Why the hell do these companies think this is a good idea? No, I don't care to see ads about other stupid shows when I'm binging a series on a service that I use as an alternative to cable and commercials.

They've been popping more and more often. Can't auto skip and it messes with the skip intro function.

Seriously considering cancelling, especially due to the fact that prime means nothing for 2 day delivery anymore.

The recent 'IMDB' movies and series are an insult. These are shows Prime used to have uncut and without commercials, now there are ads in them too.

This kind of stuff has been part of Amazon's MO for years.

They suck you in, get you addicted, then up the prices.

People are so accustomed now to just ordering from Amazon without price shopping.

What commercials can't you skip? Previews of another show before the next episode starts?

You can't skip them, but you can fast forward (which amazon doesn't do as well as Netflix btw). It ruins the flow when binging shows and it just simply shouldn't be there on a service that I pay for to avoid commercials. Intentionally inconveniencing your customers is bad business and pisses me off.

I haven't noticed them yet. What percentage of movies/show include them? I don't know how I feel about Amazon taking in advertising money while paying filmmakers pennies for each stream.

Every show I'm binging right now has them. They're not between every single episode, but about every other one or so.

Even has them in between the shows I play for the toddlers.

I've only ever seen previews. And you click right arrow on the fire remote once or twice and you skip them.

I noticed this last night when I got on CBS All Access to watch the Star Trek show... About every 5 minutes, they play 2 commercials back to back. Why am I giving you money for this when you're still ad supported? Is Netflix going to be doing this next?

Damn i wonder if some of you are just looking for a reason to bitch.

There aren't any advertisements it's like 15 second previews of amazon prime original shows before the episode starts occasionally. HBO streaming does this also and much more frequently.

I have been binging Chuck on prime last couple of weeks. It is a very minor inconvenience.

If you binge they don't trigger. They only trigger when clicking on something new to watch. They are there, but Iagree, it is inevitable. There's no such thing as free content. Cable figured it out, and streaming services are figuring it out. Production costs are too high without ad revenue to count on.

I get if it was actual advertisements. I'm hoping we don't go there I pay premium prices not to have them. But a short preview for their own original content. That's not so bad.
