Amazing Race 33 started tonight

It started a little different, they started from their houses and raced to London. I’m guessing they stayed at the airport u til all teams arrived.
Coolest team, the two US veterans that stopped the terrorist attack on the French train.

It is gonna be a weird season because COVID interrupted production and it is more like the "Amazing Race, only in Europe" now, but I am glad we have a new season.

The two friends where the one spent ten years wrongfully convicted seems like a strong team as well, but they might end up sabotaged later as a result.

I can understand not knowing that Bobby is slang for a cop... but how do you not ask the first person you see? Even if I knew that slang term I'd probably ask a few people along the way to confirm.
They really should have done a better job at timing the challenges though, the street art puzzle took a LOT longer than the bobby/big ben challenge even for the teams that nailed it first try.
I'm really curious if any teams don't come back after the COVID pause. I could imagine some have work/family issues that make it difficult.

The only thing that made the Bobby challenge tough was you had to walk for most of it. The ones who picked darts all finished at the top, plus you got beer, the cake decorating looked hard.

The UK EU challenge was interesting. I didn’t think the UK officially left the EU until early 2020 which was around the time they filmed this.

I guess we got our answer.
Anthony & Spencer, Ray & Caro, Connie & Sam, and Taylor & Isaiah didn't come back after a 19-month pause. That sucks, hopefully they are able to come back on a future season.
Looks like the two eliminated teams will be back in, leaving 7 teams to finish it out.

That was Ray & Caro... Connie and Sam have been married for a while. He's the football coach that took in the black kid that needed a place to stay and went on to win a state championship.

Yeah, you just had these two teams backwards.
The wikipedia page indicates that the two eliminated teams are coming back, but there are also rumors about bringing back some teams from past seasons to fill in spots. So who knows. I agree that it sucks to lose Anthony & Spencer, I was pulling for them as well.
