ALONE: The Beast Is on

To the "Alone" fans on this board. They started a new version on Jan 30th call Alone: The Beast.
The concept is 3 strangers in the middle of no where only equipped with a fresh kill..no tools and only the clothes on their backs for 30 days. I'm watching the first episode now.

There aired the first two episodes then apparently pulled it. I assumed it was canceled. Did they restart it?

I don't know. I'll look it up. I just stumbled across the fact that this series was even on.
With that said and no spoilers I watched the first episode and was not impressed. It is very different from "Alone".
They have a camera crew following this them and instead of a season running the 60-90 days over the course of about 10 episode they do the 30 days with one group per episode. To be honest, it sort of felt like "naked and afraid" just with clothes on. It had a "staged" feel with some of the interaction between the players.
I'll watch the second show but it's not impressive.

I watched the first 2 episodes, but then there were no more and none that I can see scheduled for later.

More than two episodes on Hulu.
Sometimes there’s drama, sometimes there’s not.
On one of the first episodes, they sent three guys out there and it was basically just a 30 day camping trip.
