Roland is legit Tallahassee from zombieland. I dont think he hit that ox but he'll get some mid to big game later.

The girls are going strong.

Thought the mandolin guy was going to sing toss a coin to your witcher.

Joe(think that's his name) is waaaaay behind on his structure. He better hurry up before it gets too cold.

Maybe it’s all in my head but it seems like there’s a Callie every season who looks similar to this chick.

Youd think he'd be more dedicated as much as he whines about the tarp and wind. Too busy worried about muh calories.

If Roland gets that ox, he’ll make it without a doubt. Callie looks to be doing really well. Her fireplace is awesome.

I don't care what anyone says, Joe did not kill that squirrel by throwing rocks at it. I can't get past that whenever he appears on the show

Roland went BEAST-MODE... Hit the OX with the bow and after it was weakened takes a knife and stabs it to death....His chances of winning just went up big time

That dude went full charge at that thing. Impressive.

I don't understand why he didn't chop that thing up & haul it to camp to finish the processing. Why leave it...?

You have that HUGE animal. Use your axe. Hack into carry-able parts & bring to camp, with a BIG fire, & take your time without risk of losing any meat.

I don't know if you saw the post show but he said he probably walked back and forth around 40 miles. He was pretty far away and it was in the low 30's. I don't know how weak he was after a month but he was pretty clever in covering the beast up in a tom of brush to keep the animals away.

All I know is if he doesn't get hurt, lonely or burns down his shelter he's got this. I think he also put away a lot of roughage earlier so he can keep the pipes clean.

Both chicks are cuties, but Callie is edges the other one out. She looked especially hot in the after show

Roland is a badass, even though that ox was wounded one hit from those horns would do serious damage. Good to see Joe finally get his structure in gear. He's still using that tarp though so it still needs a lot of work. Can't believe that lady thought that barrel was going to support her.

Everyone seems pretty strong. Except Joe, he's not gonna make it another show.

I caught the after show but definitely missed that part about the distance to/from his camp site.

Even at HALF of that 40 miles, I retract my statement.

I thought I've seen that each contestant has approximately 5 square miles of land between each other. so, given that 40 miles walking back + forth, it's possible he crossed over into another contestant's area (obviously unknowingly) to get that ox.

Damn, that's so impressive.

So Roland is definitely playing it up for the show, but he is a legit badass. A lot of time left, but would love to see versus Jordan in an All-Star season. I only saw seasons 1, 2, 6 and 7, but those two are in a class by themselves.

Yeah, in the post-show he looks like that fat cat that ate the canary. But you are correct. He's hardcore. His building of a ground level meat storage log cabin was brilliant. He's in such good shape at day 40 all he has to do is stay healthy, keep his mind occupied and consume the roughage he stored earlier to keep the pipes clean.

I was really surprised Joel tapped. I thought he had a great chance of going the distance but his body quit on him. I think him finding that wolverine taking a huge portion of his cache took the emotional wind out of sails and he never recovered from that.

well i'm pretty sure Roland is making it the 100 days, and question is, will anyone else.

Of everyone left, I'd put my money on Callie. She seems a lot more like Roland in that living in the wild is no big deal to them, as they do it regularly. I don't think she'll make it 100 days though unless she can find some long term meat, and it doesn't appear she's really trying for that. She's going to need a little luck to make it the full term.

I would say Mark maybe, but i think he's going to tap out b/c of home sickness.

Is it just me or after seeing Roland in the after shows, I think he and Jeff Lowe are long lost brothers.

Also- I think Roland wins.

Two more down. Joe didn't surprise me but Mark did. Was he the one saying he ate that whole side of a fish and was still starving? I guess it was the trichinae?

Didn't show Roland at all, I just pictured him sitting in rock house eating huge ox steaks.

The girls looking strong. Callie seems like she has the right mentality to make it.
