You sound like what I imagine David Crockett’s bitter arse would be like.

Lou Thesz was an actual wrestler. Wresting in the mid to late 80's and on was just entertainment, and not true wrestling.

What’s his gold medal count? Oh yeah it’s 0 just like most professional wrestler’s in history. He was an actual working pro wrestler just like the rest.....was he a tough guy that could shoot....sure....did he do it every night....hell no.

Funny, because yet again, the one who appears to be bitter about the situation is you

Like I said before, read Matysik’s write-up on Shawn. He analyzes it accurately, and fairly.

Thought the Booker T one was pretty good. Had no idea of his background but he made something out of nothing. GI Bro

You two about finished with your "who's the biggest wrestling nerd" fight, so we can continue the thread?

I enjoyed the Booker T one more than I thought I would. I never really cared for him, and a lot of his success came when I was off of wrestling. But it was good to see him take his life as a piece of shite person and turn it around into what it became...I can't imagine having to deal with shite he did when he was like 13. And he seems to be a legit nice guy nowadays. Sad to see his oldest son in prison though.

HBK Shawn Michaels is the next episode I believe.

As someone who grew up watching wrestling as a kid in the late 80’s early 90’s it’s amazing how many superstars of WWF/WCW are dead now as opposed to NBA and NFL players j grew up watching in the same period.

The Rowdy Roddy Piper one was really good and kind of sad.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that Roddy would be one of the older guys that would have tried to get in with AEW if he were still alive. He would have been a bright spot on it too....just like Jake and Arn have been. Not too much focus but enough to get a rub on somebody that needs it.

Totally forgot about the episode this week.

Had no idea Booker T's life is basically a Hollywood crime movie.

What I'd didnt like was the lack of old WCW guys in the doc. Why wasn't Sid Vicious interviewed? Why wasn't Bischoff interviewed?

Why didn't they they explain how WCW came up with their music?

Just some strange decisions.

What wasn't I didn't need was JBL and Bruce Pritchard narrating Booker's life.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Booker T is WCW and the Harlem Heat. I remember his move to WWE and by the time I stopped watching he was still a mid level guy. I remember tuning back in a couple years later to see he had won the WWE title. I was confused to say the least.

Bruce has been a part of Booker’s life since way before Booker T was in WCW and I think Booker himself has stated that JBL is his best friend in the business.

First 10 minutes looks like this one will be a lot better than some others so far. I juts hope they have Bret Hart next week.

The fued and hate between those two, combined with just how alike they were when it came to talent just makes for an Incredible Cain vs Abel type rivalry.

There should be a full doc just in those two.
