The last few seasons weren't very good. I doubt this will be.

It's been 3 years. They could take it in a huge number of directions to make it fresh. I'm hopeful that it could be really good.

According to Wikipedia, I know I know, there was supposed to be a movie called Die hard 24/7. Where it was a cross over between die hard and 24. John McClane and Jack Bauer together on the silver screen? Yes please!

Did anyone actually think that movie was really going to happen?

FAPPPPP

Considering every show Fox has attempted to replace 24 with has been an utter failure they might have realized they made a mistake by canceling it in the first place.

if they plan for a 2 year arch and the writing is good, this could be awesome.

I'm curious what storyline they would use to pick up new watchers since it's been 3 years.

Even the last few seasons of 24 were still better than the steaming pile of shite that is network drama television today.

ETA: Everyone always says the last few seasons of 24 sucked, but the final season was actually pretty good. It was just 6 (which was the worst by far) and 7 that weren't good.
