The People of TD finally get an awards show where the winners line up with their political ideology.

Pretty lame opening, IMO.

I'll watch it as long as Carrie Underwood's legs are on display.

Those jabs at Trump are not going to be well received by the people that support this music.

I think the jabs at trump are widely accepted by most.

Nice tribute to T-Roy there

Just said that.

This isn't country.

It's pop rock

Sickens me that guys like Sturgill Simpson, Stapleton, Isbell and Whitey Morgan will never headline these events. Mainstream country music is made for the least common denominator, oilfield trash and their hair dresser, pall mall smoking wives, tribal tat having, shite heels.

No he’s not. Don’t even think he’s performing.

Brothers Osborne just rocked it out, some guys can still kick the shite out of country but the masses love the pop stuff

Stapleton nominated for entertainer of the year. I'd love to see him take it.

Brocephus, I hear ya. I've conceded they can't redo the greats. I guess it has to evolve and it'll never be as good as it was.

I turn channels, pick and choose. There's some music in there made by the truest, red white and bluest Americans as me and you. I patronize the mature moderate artists. Salute, amen. MAGA.

That was heartfelt, surely some good song lyrics in there somewhere.
