1991 Sally Field movie, Soapdish - not a PC ending.

The wife and I watched this movie last night - fun, but sometimes over the top. The ending, which I will not reveal, would not withstand today's woke culture.

I like Soap Dish as well, seen it many times
Delirious with John Candy is kind of a similar movie that I really like Trailer: Delirious
And I guess staying on the Soap theme, of course Tootsie

The wife and I watched Tootsie last night - great movie, outstanding cast (I had forgotten Bill Murray was in it). We probably had more laughs with Soapdish, but both movies are good to watch.

I was kind of interested in it and probably would have seen it at some point, but I really don't like Sally Field. She's just a ham actress with no natural charm. She brought nothing to Smoky and the Bandit or Mrs. Doubtfire.

When it comes to lampooning Soaps, Footsie is the better movie.
Like all ensemble movies, Soap dish is all over the place.
With very little lol moments.
