Well we usually take a CB in this range so I think we'll change it up this year.

Also a pick of need.
Bills (DallasTiger45) on the clock!

At pick 22, the Bills take Josh Jackson, CB from Iowa.
Buffalo has a lot of holes for a team that just made the playoffs. They've addressed deficiencies on the defensive line with signings of Star Loutoulawhatever and Trent Murphy, but any other unit could be in play here at 22. Josh Jackson is one of the best players available at this point in the draft, and head coach Sean McDermott is a defensive guy who likes long cornerbacks. Jackson's combination of size and ball skills make him a prospect capable of playing well in the red zone and forcing turnovers.
Some may question this pick with the signing of Vontae Davis, but Davis is on a one year deal and was mediocre at the end of his Colts tenure. Even if Davis is healthy and returns to form, having 3 good cornerbacks in today's NFL certainly can't be a bad problem to have.

With pick 23, the LA Rams select Will Hernandez, Guard, UTEP.
Will is a big, strong motherfricker and will step right in and be a dominant run-blocker. He does have short arms but being at guard that shouldn't effect him TOO much.
Rams starting RG Jamon Brown graded terribly by PFF so Hernandez should step in as an instant upgrade.

With the 24th pick in the msb nfl draft, the Carolina Panthers select Justin Reid, S, Stanford.
quote:
Reid is what teams are looking for at the safety position in 2018. He's a plus size/speed prospect who has the athletic ability to help with man coverage and the instincts and ball skills for ball-hawking duties on the back end. Reid can get himself into some trouble when he's overly aggressive, but his positive plays far outweigh the negative. He has the talent to become an early starter and a good one. Reid's instincts and play traits should make him a safe selection with Pro Bowl potential down the road.

So just a suggestion, but i think it would be a good idea if you got everyone's numbers/emails. Maybe put us all in a GroupMe? I was in the recruiting mock draft and he would text us when we were up. I just feel like this may start to fade towards the middle rounds as people start to forget and stuff. Also the 2 hour rule is good, but it is kinda random in the sense that lets say I have 3 people ahead of me and I need to go do something. I don't know if all 3 of those people will take 2 hours, or if they will all 3 pick within the next 5 minutes. If it's the latter, I then would probably miss my pick because I wasn't expecting all 3 to pick so soon.

Okay I feel better that the Cowboy picker isn’t only guy that reached just on name. Reid is a 2nd rounder at highest

Lol how was mine a reach? Evans has been pegged going to the Cowboys on multiple mocks.

Clearly you are not a Cowboy fan if you think they’re going LB with Davenport, Brown, McGlinty, and Jackson there. Evans won’t be the pick as it isn’t one of need.

I think evans is more of a late first rounder but I’m not gonna kill anyone for saying otherwise
Edge rushers tend to rise over guys like Evans even if they aren’t better players

We just lost Hitchens to FA, Sean Lee cannot be counted on for 16 games atp, Smith seems to be better but who knows how he will do long term with the foot.
You may disagree with the pick but Evans at 19 to Dallas is not some absurd reach. In fact, it's fairly realistic judging by mocks and whatnot imo.

The last 3 I have seen Evans isn’t in the 1st round even. The guy from Boise is better for Dallas than Evans because he can cover in Tampa 2

Panthers need help on the back end pretty badly. Was going to take Josh Jackson but he went off the board a few picks beforehand.
