Y’all ever seen a pitcher give up 5 homeruns in 1 inning?

Red Sox are a dumpster fire this year, and it feels like management doesn't want to invest anymore.

Don’t they also own Liverpool?

For some reason this made me think of Nathan Peterman and his 5 interceptions in a game.

They don’t really invest in Liverpool either. Most of Liverpool’s spending has come from prize money.

3 of those 5 were with a runner on base, one of which was a 3 run homer

The 3 run jack was the 4th home run of the inning. I get that you don’t want to blow your bullpen in long relief in a game that’s a lost cause, but how do you not take your pitcher out when he’s given up 3 home runs in an inning and then proceeds to allow 2 base runners? And there was only 1 out at the time.

And Tucker came back and hit a grand slam a few innings later.

Wonder if the Astros can lock up Yordan and Tucker for as cheap as the Braves got Ozzie and Acuna

3.15 to 4.32

3 of the runs were unearned.

I watched RA Dickey, pre knuckle ball, give up the most homeruns in a game in 2006 against the Tigers live.
