I think there's still some bad blood from when he was fired back in 2015. I'm sure he'll consider some day but likely down the line.

he got fired at OU as an OC under stoops. don't know how he feels about taking over as HC

besides that, he'd be a legend at tennessee for decades if he can make the vols competitive again after 2 decades of being irrelevant

Kiffin basically said this week he should have never left Tennessee. It took him a decade to get back what he was starting there.

If Heupel is smart, he won't leave Knoxville unless he given his walking papers. They'll build him a statue if he wins 10-11 games there after the tire fire that program has been.

Kiffin wasn’t the coach he is now when he was at Tennessee. They had a decent season in 2009 but he was arse at USC.

USC was also put on probation just after he got there, dumb arse.

Not as long as Stoops has any association with OU.

Heupel and Stoops despise each other.

7-6 then 3-2 with a team Coach O turned into a force. Kiffin was still an immature clown at USC.

why would he?

Tenn can be one of top jobs in country, when the right guy is in charge.

Will always have recruiting obstacles there as long as Bama and UGA are strong

So will OU once they join the SEC.

The correct answer is he won’t go back to OU as long as Big Game Bob is still alive.

Yeah Kiffin needed the Saban school of creating offensive-based HCs.

Only the unrelenting force of Bill O'Brien can stop that train

As long as Stoops has any day over there, you can forget that. Stoops and Heupel hate each other.

I don’t see why he would leave anyway. Tennessee football is rolling right now and Oklahoma is a dumpster fire
