I think this knockout might hurt Uriah in the end. The way he looked and the concern he has may make him skittish in the future. He seems like a really nice kid, who has a fire inside from all the bullying he endured growing up, but he is still just a nice guy who wants people to like him. The way he felt after that knockdown, i don't know, just seems off for a fighter who's job is to do just what he did that night. i hope he can pull through as he looks like could have a damn good future ahead of him in the UFC.
his boxing is pretty rough and he drops his hands wayyyy too much. his kicks are great but i dont know how good he can be

agreed.
his jab looked good the couple times he threw it, but his boxing looked mediocre at best. he is powerful and explosive, but I'm not sold on him being a superstar. Let's see how good his cardio, bjj, wrestling, tdd, chin, heart, etc etc is before we crown him the next ufc champ.
as far as this show goes, he has a great shot at winning TUF. I'd love to see him match up with that guy from Tallahassee. The fact that he's in all those commercials would indicate he probably made the finals already.
eta: and the production for this season is top quality. don't know if they're using superior camera's to years past, or if fox is simply putting much more money into this than spike was before.

2 observations.
That was an awesome kick. They never work. Poor bastard walked into it.
2. Hulu has too many fricking commercials.

watched the episode last night. that kick was fricking brutal.
uriah seems to have several tools, but it looked like he got bored at times. i don't know how many times i heard chael telling him to throw the jab and he wouldn't respond. cella didn't match up well at all with him, and i think that made the fight look more one sided than it was. uriah's got a ton of potential, though, and it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he went on to win

I agree. I think its because they are kind of leaning more toward documentary than reality show. maybe we havent got far enough into the series where they start manufacturing drama. also, they dont have the cheesy introduction video anymore.
