while attending la tech, I and a tech friend went over to Grambling to see reed play.
vs Arkansas A M and N.
the initial warm-up was incredible.
lights off. then a single light. the crowd sings the school song. team comes straight out for tip drill and last guy is Reed who slams it down.
I'm surprised ark am and N came out of the locker room after that.
Fwiw besides me and my tech dorm friend 1 other white person in building.
an incredible beauty white blonde.
game not close.
ark a m and N had a hot shooting guard.
end recall.

My dad met him while he was in college at Grambling. Willis was already long retired by that time. My dad said he was surprised that Willis, an entire NBA champion and HOF, had a relatively low profile on campus.
