Will we see more Greek NBA players?

Olympiacos and Panathinaikos are some of the best basketball organizations in Europe. I don't know about the Greek system, but I can say that Latvia which has been a traditionally hockey country since the USSR (Helmuts Balderis, Arturs Irbe, and Sandis Ozolins) some of the few non-Russians to play for the Soviet Union is now Porzingis crazy.
Will Antetokounmpo, from a more traditional basketball country translate? I know lots of Greeks have had short spells but no other real stars.

Greece is mostly a bunch of hairy white guys. Giannis' parents came from Nigeria. He's Greek based on his nationality but he gets his genetics from his African parents.
What I'm getting at is there are not a lot of guys with the genetics of Giannis in Greece, so you probably won't see any rise in Greeks going to the NBA.

Greece has good basketball programs but not the athletes to produce a lot of NBA talent. That's my point. Nigeria is just the opposite. They have athletes but not the avenues to make it to the NBA.

Giannis isn't ethnically Greek. He's ethnically Nigerian. There aren't many ethnic Greeks who have the genetics to make it to the NBA.
