They can't in large part to California and Gavin Newsom which is holding them hostage.
Newsom has shutdown California K-12 schools this fall (he's currently being sued by parents) and while the Universities don't have to comply with his order (he's given them guidelines) - the UC schools do get money from the State of California.
I suspect when Cal and UCLA said they're a no-go, the Pac12 wasn't going to play a season...especially if USC was also not going to play.

In a shocking turn of events, unless there is a drastic outbreak of cases in the next few days, the B1G will resume their college football season this fall, per source.
Expect an announcement later this week that the Big Ten will be playing again.

If schools keep freaking the frick out every time there are a handful of positive tests in the student body it's going to be the Big12/ACC/SEC changing their minds.

You're playing yourself if you believe this

It isn't a difficult conclusion.
Locations that reacted appropriately have moved on with fewer cases. Places like Florida have not.

Just shut up.
You don't have data to support whatever nonsensical point you're going to try making.

And what are the recent trends of those data?

Yeah, that's bullshite. Florida is seeing peak numbers, while Pennsylvania has been flat for two months.

PAC 12 no chance, the political environment won't allow it. Big 10.....??
Posted on 9/16/20 at 8:38 am to ForeverGator
Welp. Guess we had some foresight that the Big 10 would resume. Those west coast kids will be poached for years to come since the PAC 12 probably won’t budge til November.
