Will ESPN still try to make Lonzo Ball a superstar now?

ESPN has been promoting and hyping him up since he arrived to the NBA.

Does this change now?

His dad is still Lavar so he’ll still get a lot of attention.

Dad needs to stay in L.A. and send Lonzo to LA.

Lol. He’s in New Orleans now. The most he can hope for is being caught in the same frame for an occasional Zion dunk that makes sports center.

Even ESPN isn’t shameless enough to call them “Lonzo and the Pelicans.”

I think.

Great news for Lonzo: the bench is almost always in the background of those highlights.

Lavar got pretty quiet once Lebron came to the Lakers

Now he’s back!

Right. This isn’t unique to the ESPN boogeyman. Plenty of people have high opinions on the player that Lonzo can still be.

If Lonzo can ever stay healthy, he’s going to be a pretty good player.

I do not usually follow the NBA, but on a local radio show, yesterday,a local "expert" stated that Lonzo works really hard on defense. Thus, if he gets playing time for New Orleans, he and Jrue Holiday become one of the toughest defensive back courts in the league.

Just throwing it out there.

Jrue and Lonzo would be the best defensive guard tandem in the league for sure

But he couldn't score in a single's bar with a pocket full of fifty dollar bills.

LaVar needs to be told to check his $h!t. Until that happens (and Lonzo elevates his game), Lonzo will be viewed as marginal.
