Bet he doesn’t, dude is such a tool who always bends the truth to fit his narrative. Non stop every single day after an NBA final he tweets about how the ratings are in the tank and how the NBA is dying, he conveniently never discuses the NHL ratings, rather he’d say the NHL is considerably up compared to the NBA, and every time someone brings up the fact that Canada isn’t included in the ratings, he always says their viewership is not significant enough to matter, when 40% of the entire country watched the finals.

quote:

National (U.S. only) rating for last night’s NBA Finals Game 6 was a 13.2/24 share. In the Louisville market, it drew an 8.3/16. US Open in prime time from Pebble Beach did a 2.4/4. Women’s World Cup in the afternoon, Australia-Brazil 1.9/6 and S. Africa-China 2.0/5

LINK

Game 5 was the most watched TV program in Canada in 2019.

14.5 Million Canadians watched all of part of game 5 in Canada and the clown thinks that’s not a significant number.

You are right but the audience here likes to point out the same incorrect narrative here.

When did TD turn their backs on Clay Travis?

Dude was the talk of the board in 2017.

I still listen every morning.

The early rounds of the NBA postseason did have pretty embarrassing ratings. They were essentially in the tank and I like to think it’s probably because of the GSW exhaustion.

This is literally only relevant because the countries sole team was in the series. I’d like to see Canada’s numbers in past finals. It wouldn’t shock me if 2-3 million people tuned in tops for a game.

LOL

NBA ratings were down, they will continue to go down. It's a glass house that is ready to break. This ESPN/abc contract will be their last huge deal.

When Pardon My Take began hitting its stride. They've been reading Travis' ratings tweets all week without mentioning his name.

Nobody cares about TV ratings in Canada for any other sporting event other than the NHL.
