Apparently they claimed he had medical condition that allowed for him to take endurance enhancers. Could be end of Sky this year if the UCI holds to its guns.

We all know if Wiggins was Froome is. There are too many similarities between Sky and Postal/Discovery.

If this is about cycling, put it on the soccer board.

Brailsford is done. He cannot survive this. He was lucky last year, but I think this the death kneel to his credibility in the cycling world. Also, with the ongoing Froome case team sky is suffering big time on the PR front

He needs it!!

We should probably use this thread to mock those who criticized so harshly on the MSB the Kevin Love for Andrew Wiggins trade.

BB03 got absolutely roasted a few weeks ago when people bumped his stuff about Wiggins being the next Kobe, top 15 player ever, worst trade of all time, etc. People were piling on in other threads, too, but this was the source material.

Just glorious

Wiggins in 2017-18:

17.9 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 1.8 APG, 44.3% FG, 33.1% from 3, 63.5% from FT line ( ), 13.1 PER, 1.6 Win Share.

He's definitively mediocre.

Meanwhile, the league is rich with more young talent than ever before in it's history and Wiggins isn't mentioned in the breath as guys like Giannis, Embiid, Simmons, AD, etc.

Like how did the Brits go from no decent cyclist to 5 or 6 great ones in the span of 2 or 3 years? Hard work and a stiff upper lip I suppose.

Pouring a bunch of money into the uk cycling federation has helped tremendously, but it is pretty fishy. They have had great cyclist in the past so their is some history there. It just never came at the clip that we are currently witnessing

Wiggins had a quality palmares before winning the Tour but it was mostly for track stuff and TT's. Still not sure how he became a top climber? Froome came out of nowhere...what a transformation he went through at Sky.

Froome's transformation is just silly - from a guy who was going to get let go to the top GC rider for a decade, it just doesn't add up.
Just as bad is Valverde coming back from a doping suspension and being a better rider at age 37 than he was when caught doping.

It's funny, cyclists cheat with the juice, mlb players have cheated with the juice and they are crucified.

But the WHOLE NFL is juiced out of their fricking gourds and the only outcry is over kneeling. Not a word about juicing.
