QB at 1.
OT at 4.
RB at 33.
OL at 35.

That would be a great draft if BPA lines up like that. There always seems to be a good RB who falls out of the first round and there will be plenty of good Guards and Centers left at 35.

Unless they are getting Cousins, there is no need for another free agent QB. You have to get a franchise guy from the draft.

Johnson is a good compliment at RB, but he needs someone else, and Crowell isnt that guy.

Even if Barkley is the best (he's not) you take QB, Pass Rusher, or OT at #1.

I'd take Darnold and go, unless you really, really believe in one of the later round QBs that you can scoop up in the 2nd.

Given that they'll have shitloads of cap, I'd take a run at Captain Kirk, and have Darnold as the fall back.

Look what Fournette has done for Bortles and the Jags this year. If there is a can't miss RB in top 10 it's a no brainer.

Adding Calais Campbell was a bigger reason than Fournette.

Browns dont need defense, defense, defense. 16th in DVOA, 14th in yards a game, 7th in rush defense, 19th against the pass, and 21st in sacks

i'm seeing 4th in rush D and 27th in pass D when i look at dvoa page on football outsiders. u cant win in todays nfl with that awful pass D

but probably no DBs worth taking in the top 4. they should trade down and take 2 DBs around 10-20th picks

All it takes is one to take you from 0-2 wins to 10+ wins.

not really. especially when you have one of the bottom 5 pass D's in the league, ask Drew Brees

I wouldn’t pick a RB at #1, but I also don’t think any of these QBs are worth the top pick either.

They have the 4th pick too so there's no reason to take him at #1 and the draft always has other options available at that position later on too. If the Browns can patch up the entire roster outside of RB then that is the last position they should be worried about.

The browns have serviceable running backs already.

The Browns need to use the great majority of this draft to form a future elite offensive line.

You can at least get back on the right track with a top notch offensive line, Kizer, Crowell/Johnson and Gordon.

The Browns should absolutely not draft a QB. Cleveland is where QB's go to end their career before it starts. Not to mention, the QB doesn't matter if he can't take 3 steps without getting hit.

I don't think Kizer is the long term answer.

Browns spend like 100 million on their Oline last offseason.

Kizer is a stopgap fix IMHO. He isn’t the future but he is good enough as a tackling dummy while they figure out the future at QB.

If they don’t see Rosen, Darnold, or Allen as that future, I don’t see spending a high pick on them when there are so many gaps to plug.

Even if they improve to the point where they win 4 more games next year they are still drafting high in the first and have the assets to trade up for a QB they really want.

if the browns were anyone other then the browns, they would trade the #1 and #4 picks to get 2 lower 1st round picks and 2 more 2nd round picks and possibly even a couple of 3rds from a team in desperate need.

with the browns track record of taking busts with all their 1st rnd picks they are better selling them then using them.

hell based on their history i would even resell the lower 1st round picks they get to get even more 2nd and 3rd round picks. if they followed my advice they "could" possibly end up with 4 high 2nd rounders and 4 high 3rd round picks rather then select 2 busts as first rounders as they do every year
