Bc people feel boxing is for the white collar and mma is for the blue collar. They use it as a way to make themselves feel like they're successful despite the fact they're on here 6 hrs a day and going to school part time

The UFC has a stigma of having too many tough guy wannabe fans. It's better than it used to be, but Affliction shirt guy is still out there annoying people at sports bars.
Boxing fan knows their sport is largely irrelevant so there's an insecurity thing going on. They also want to pretend it's still the sweet science pumping out tacticians and not brawlers.
