Like I said above, he's not a good manager IMO. Snit has managed circles around him.

Joe Simpson the Braves radio color guy was absolutely incensed the roof was open and the wind was allowed to play into the game.

His rant lasted the entire first inning and was before any runs were scored.

One of the greatest pitchers we've ever seen is nearly two runs worse in the playoffs, going by ERA.

Yes because we shouldn't expect the hitters to be better on the best playoff teams vs. the league average.........

There are athletes that excel in the highest leverage situations. Kershaw isn’t one of them.

Smoltz is a criminally underrated playoff pitcher. He was an assassin in October.

Smoltz, Maddux, Glavine, Avery, and Mercker were my favorite rotation of all time

Avery and Merker didn’t pitch at same time did they?

The original 5 Aces were
Avery
Smoltz
Glavine
Maddox
Pete Smith

Correct?

He didn’t pitch that bad. Hell, the only way he could’ve gotten the win tonight was tossing a shutout.

What a weakly excuse.

Mad dog Chris Carpenter wouldn’t let himself get shelled again and again in a playoff game.

Plenty of rooks have pitched better games against as good or better offenses than the teams Kershaw has gotten consistently rocked by. The dude is just bad in October. Jekyll and Hyde between regular season and postseason.

Kershaw has sucked in the post-season for years now.

Dave Roberts will never win a WS with the Dodgers.

One part of the problem

Dodgers bullpen has an uncanny ability to allow inherited Kershaw runners to score in October (80%). Here is a full accounting: LINK

He is an absolute pussy. With a capital P. Pussy. My back hurts. So does mine loser.
I am older and remember when Bob Gibson and Jim Palmer and Orel Hershiser missed playoff games because of back spasms. NOPE.
If Kershaw is your gold standard, you suck.

If anyone has the opinion he's a good manager then they should be deleted.

He's an analytics robot who makes 1 million per year, making decisions off of a flow chart. The front office is who really coaches that team and that's why they will never win shite. That bullshite works in the regular season when you're trying to rack up a bunch of wins, nothing more.

Atlanta won 1 championship with those pitchers. They’ll piss the series away against the Dodgers, typical Georgia team, can’t win the big one.

You do realize Cora and Hinch were no different than Roberts right? They may have been a little bit better at times but they’re just carrying out the decisions that the analytics department told them to, that’s how it is in most mlb organizations right now. It’s why managers salaries aren’t that great.

I blame their bullpen. Reminds me of the Braves bullpens in the ‘90s that constantly melted down in the postseason.

how is the bullpen to blame that a 3x(could easily be 5x) Cy Young winner can't go a full 6 innings
