Because they're still back in 2004 when they last made the playoffs

Because its easier to hang yourself with a towel, which is what the fans want to do after watching this abortion of a series.

It would drive me crazy sitting in one of the arenas that was doing it, but I think the waving towels looks better than the worn T-shirt’s. Don’t hockey crowds do the waving towels during playoff games? Looks much better to me.

I’d rather a towel than the XXL shirts they give out as to not fat shame the fat arse fans.

You do realize that those things are sponsored, so the sponsor went with towels.

You do know how these things work, right????

I found out a massive secret during the Pels games. Not all of the shirts are XLs. They throw some mediums out there randomly. If you get there before the game you can search up and down a few rows and find a medium or two. I’m wearing my medium “Do it bigger” Pels shirt right now

The XL shirts shrink. Give it a wash or two and it becomes a large.

They had some other sizes at the SKC. But the medium shrank a lot. That XL may come out of the dryer as a medium.

And I hate towels. If you are waving a towel you can’t clap or cup you hand by your mouth when you yell. I’d much rather noise over towels flopping everywhere. And they block the view. What do you do with the towel after the game? Hang it on your wall? Functional options are limited because the fabric is usually a water resistant, industrial waste based plastic. Boo towels.

This is all true. Back in 2011 I went to what ended up being CP3's last game as a Hornet when they lost to the Lakers in the playoffs. I was there with my nephew, who was (and still is) a pretty big kid. We got there right when the doors opened and when we got to our seats, both seats had medium sized aqua blue shirts. One of the usher ladies saw that my nephew was disappointed and she helped look around at the seats in our section to find him a large. Nice lady. I find that the Superdome/Blender customer service folks are typically very nice.

I'd rather have a towel than an oversized shirt that they normally lay on the seats. Supposedly all shirts for yesterday's Pelicans game were XLs.

If xl is an oversized shirt we must have some little guys that post on here. I’m 6’-5 and 230 and those shirts are good for the game but wash them once and it feels like a compression shirt for the gym
