The committee pulls some bullshite to get Bama in at 12 after they paste Auburn
Posted on 11/23/24 at 11:09 pm to GoldenGuy
I think that’s the right group but I think Bama sneaks in if UT beats A&M and Miami beats SMU

I have a feeling USC will upset ND

I agree with your list, except I think Miami beats SMU.
Depending on the margin of victory, Clemson may then jump SMU into the playoffs.

I would agree if it was at Auburn but it’s in Tuscaloosa. Auburn hasn’t won there since Cam

Besides beating Texas, what else would A&M need in order to get into the SEC championship?

Misread your question - I think that’s all they need unless Tennessee holds some weird tie breaker

Generally agree with the teams being discussed, but I'd probably switch Miami and the Big 12 winner if they're 11-2. Especially if it's BYU or ASU.

There is no scenario where Oregon is 1 and OSU is 2

Does uga get in with 3 losses if they lose championship game? I’m leaning toward yes after today.

He said in no particular order. He was just listing the teams.

Yes. Even without the chaos that happened today, they still would have likely gotten in. I don’t think the committee will punish the loser of the SEC/B10 title games.
