It's crazy how similar Harden's numbers are to Wade's during the same stages in their careers both in the regular season and postseason.

Regular Season

Wade's numbers from 2003-2014: 24.3 PPG, 6.0 APG, 5.0 RPG
Harden's career numbers: 24.3 PPG, 6.2 APG, 5.2 RPG

Postseason

Wade's numbers from 2003-2014: 22.9 PPG, 5.1 APG, 5.3 RPG, 22.7 PER, .161 WS/48
Harden's career numbers: 22.9 PPG, 5.6 APG, 5.4 RPG, 22.3 PER, .170 WS/48

It's a tossup for me. I would probably go with Wade but I won't argue with anybody that says Harden.

It’s Wade. Easy.

Even as a rockets fan I have to say Wade.

Also I believe Wade’s ‘09-10 year was one of the greatest individual seasons in NBA history and certainly the most underrated.

Wade. He could score at will and play all-NBA caliber defense

Do Harden’s numbers with just the Rockets where he’s THE guy and playing proper minutes in the role.

That has to favor Harden.

You only show half of the game. Factor in defense and it's no contest.

Wade has a really odd career. LeBron drug his arse to those last two championships. And Harden’s numbers take a huge hit because he was a 6th man and 3rd option in OKC. Wade was also missing the playoffs with the Heat before LeBron. That shite doesn’t happen on Harden’s watch. Unfortunately, the super teams have arrived since Wade, in part thanks to Wade teaming up with LeBron and Bosh.

The two are, statistically, comparable in seasons with similar USG% (i.e. James Harden 2017-18 v. Dwyane Wade 2008-09), but Wade is the better defender with three championships. Give me Wade.

Wade won a title without LeBron he was the alpha on that team early on. Don’t kid yourself.

Just throwing around 3 championships in this argument is why Durant joined the Warriors. That last championship had absolutely nothing to do with Wade.

You mean after he averaged 35/8/4 in the 2006 finals to carry them to a title?

For sure. Wade was awesome at his peak, but I don’t think he was consistent like Harden, in part because his play style caused him to be constantly injured.

Peak Wade was the better player. Due to injuries his peak years were not as long as Hardens. Wade at one time was on a level Harden couldn't attain, while Harden is on a course of longevity that Wade wasn't capable of matching.

True or False. Dwyane Wade wins 1 total title if LeBron doesn’t join him.

1 title is not the difference between lots of players, and I’m not sure it will be the difference between Wade and Harden when all is said and done, even if Harden doesn’t win a title.

You are counting Harden's numbers when he was a bench player with OKC. If you use his numbers when he was a starter in Houston, it looks a little different:

Harden: 29.0 PPG, 7.7 APG, 6.0 RPG, 61.0% TS%
Wade: 24.3 PPG, 6.2 APG, 5.2 RPG, 56.8% TS%

Post season

Harden: 28.2 PPG, 7.0 APG, 5.7 RPG, 57.0% TS%
Wade: 22. 9 PPG, 5.1 APG, 5.3 RPG, 55.4 TS%

You mean once? And that was the year he was having knee issues and Mourning missed the majority of the year.

Harden is probably the better player, but him and the Rockets fanbase is annoying AF.
