I say Brown first but neither seem to have a future with their current teams.

How about they fire Mike Tomlin and bring in a coach that can maintain an iota of discipline with the team and not let it devolve into a soap opera every year.

No need to get rid of brown if you have a coach that can actually lead.

RBs are a dime a dozen

Brown is actually an impact player. Fournette isn’t as good as most think he is.

This is coaching, the organization has given Tomlin so much leeway and he knows hes safe. The Steelers invented the Rooney rule they are not going to fire him.

The levon, no standing for the flag and the throwing an us military vet under the bus for not sitting in the locker room.

Now the AB saga this team needs an iron fist.

AB seems like a guy who would sign with Cleveland just to stick it to Tomlin.

I don't know, who's the Hall of Fame level wideout and who's the RB who produced below league average and was injured a lot?

I know who has a longer leash there for me.

That was my first thought, but then it occurred to me that they could get a ton of value for him if they shopped him. If the relationship is as bitter as it seems, maybe that’s the smart move, especially since they have JuJu

Worst possible thing they could do here. Sends a message to the players that the ownership will get rid of the coach if a player throws a hissy fit. That undermines the next coach's authority.

AB sat out a must win game because he was butthurt. Get rid of him and the players will get the message that it doesn't matter who you are - you do your job or you're gone.

The 30 year old WR with the good fortune of playing his entire career with a HOF quarterback and a long history of insubordination or the 23 year old has played 2 seasons running behind the worst OL the league who appeared “disinterested” in a meaningless season finale that he wasn’t active for?

I would say Fournette because Brown is such an impact player but, on the other side of the coin, the Steelers could probably get some team to pay through the nose to trade for Brown while nobody is trading for Fournette.

Yep. One has led the NFL in receptions twice, had 6 straight 100+ reception seasons and 7 1,000 yard seasons. The other hasn't hit 4 ypc at a way less valued position.

I know there are a lot of LSU fans here, but value wise, it isn't very close. Fournette has talent, but Jax can cut ties with him so much more easily and get a reasonable replacement.

Why do people think Fournette is anything above an average rb?

This would probably doom us for the next few years, but I wouldn't mind if the front office cleans house.

Get rid of Tomlin, Big Ben, Brown, and Butler, then start over.

Ryan Clark came on SVP sports center and aired all the dirty laundry about how much of a cancer AB is.

He’s the problem not Tomlin.

Ben Roethlisberger says on his radio show (93.7 the Fan) he had no issue w/ A. Brown. “If there was a blowout, I certainly didn’t see it,” said Roethlisberger, who talked to Brown Thurs AM and “everything was great,” but understands frustration from Brown being gone late in week.

93.7 in Pittsburgh is awesome drama radio every week
