13.5 and 8 a game. 59th in PER. 9th in FG Percentage. 40% from 3. 2 Blocks a game- top 5 in the league.

Kind of hilarious this kid might pan out.

What's funny?

He's always flashed talent. He finally got an opportunity to show it.

He would never get serious minutes on a good team

Probably not. Orlando runs what I call a Goofy Big lineup at times.

Wendell Carter
Bol Bol
Banchero/Bamba
Wagner
Suggs/Ross/Hampton/Banchero

They've won like 5 games so it apparently doesn't work too well.

Yeah I feel foolish being cool on him pre-draft, but I've never claimed to be an expert NBA draft evaluator post 2010 or so

I’ve watched more Magic games than I should due to sports gambling and that’s simply not true.

Bol Bol is playing very well this year and very smart as well. Any team could use what he is bringing this year. He’s playing very under control, efficient, defends, rebounds.

He belongs in any rotation. Maybe watch a game before making that kind of negative absolute statement on a guy having a breakout season.

And to the guy saying the jumbo lineup isn’t working.

They are playing it out of necessity due to injuries to their guards. They have a lot of quality wins and losses so far this year. Orlando is a team that looks to be on the cusp to me if they happen to get healthy. Their size is tough to matchup with. But it’s also tough to win games when your top 3 guards available are RJ Hampton, Terrence Ross, and Suggs.

As a Magic fan, I have to ask...how deep in the weeds gambling are you

It may be necessity but they have no 2 guards. Cole Anthony and Fultz aren't going to get you Ws with that supporting cast.

I don’t find any of that surprising. He was good coming into the league.

Like most guys with uncommon skill sets for their size, coaches will struggle to fit him into normal lineups and he won’t see the playing time he needs to be successful. Then if an org decides he’s good enough to build around, his body will break down and the team lacking the core piece will implode massively. These guys with the weird skill sets for their size tend to break down

I'm a big Magic fan and it is clear as daylight that they are purposely tanking again this season. There is no fricking way that 8 players are ALWAYS injured. It's a fricking disgrace

Pretty deep in the weeds lol, but I like betting the Magic bc they seem to outperform expectation a lot and they are a fun team to watch.

You are right, they do probably need another 2 guard even if healthy.

Franz is a baller. Franz and Banchero are a really good foundational 2. And obviously they have some nice role players around them as well. Wendell Carter is a hooper. Bol Bol obviously is useful. Suggs comes out and plays exceptional on both sides of the ball occasionally.

Where the frick is J Isaac? Dude’s been out for like 3 years it seems.

They need to move Ross, Bamba and RJ Hampton at the deadline.

Ross should have been traded 2 years ago when his value was higher.

If they like Bol Bol, Bamba's skillset is just duplicating what he has.

RJ Hampton needs to find a team that can give him consistent minutes in a rotation or commit to his development. He has potential and is still young

Cole Anthony should probably be sent packing as well. He just eats possessions and really doesn't have enough range or versatility to be a 6th man.

Wagner-Banchero-Carter should be your base and the two wing spots need to be fixed. Suggs is a back up PG and there's no #2 on the roster. Maybe draft or FA will get you that next year. They should be a 7/8 seed contender next year if they can fill the 2 guard hole in their roster.
