Ravens had 5,014 yards 333 points
They lost the ball 26 times that year

Tampa had 5,002 points 346 points

22 turnovers

Gruden Improved the offense from what it was, and throughout that year.

also, look at the teams the 2000 ravens faced.

Will bump in a month so Saints fans can say mike Smith

By saints fans logic, any coach who can win a sb with Ryan as QB would be GOAT

Honorable Mention: seifert and switzer

I'd say Switzer by a country mile. Seifert won multiple Super Bowls with the 49ers and did so with two different QBs( Yeah I know both QBs are Hall of Famers). But it still takes a good coach not to frick something up. The 49ers were always in the mix before Seifert's second title.

Billick is suspect that is for sure but the Ravens had a pretty good ground game that year. Jamal Lewis was a boss running the ball and they had a Hall of Fame TE in Shannon Sharpe. The QB play was awful though and they really didn't have a big time playmaker at WR.

Dungy! Good grief, if he wasn't a nice guy and didn't have Peyton he would not be as revered as he is..how come nobody is beating down his door to get back into coaching?

Didn't play a key role in developing the tampa 2? Or was that all Kiffin? Dungy was one of those guys that got fired for going to the playoffs too many times. I think that's kind of silly.

He's completely shut the door on him coming back to coach in the NFL. Gruden and Cowher haven't. Even without Peyton he would still be revered for building the Bucs.

LOL.

He took the Steelers to 2 Super Bowls and accomplished just as much as Bill Cowher did in half the time.

Well he did win 2, so I guess I could be wrong. But he just didn't coach very long for a guy that won two Super Bowls. He had a failed experiment at Seattle several years after being done with the Raiders.
