Maybe Amaker? (I’m not big into college basketball; obviously I have no idea)

Tommy Amaker would be a home run hire for Duke. Keeps up the whole prestigious academic angle as well it is hard for me to believe they do not bring somebody in with ties to Coach K immediately after.

I do not know how much say he will have in the hire. A name to watch is obviously Jeff Capel who is now the HC at Pitt. Also Chris Collins who is at Northwestern could be a name, like Amaker brings that academic angle and was on staff with Coach K a long time.

All 3 would be the frontrunners but I would not put it past them to make a splash hire and get a Bill Self or someone to that degree.

Haven’t really given it much thought to be honest, but Amaker would be a solid choice

Mike Brey from ND wouldn't be bad option but I don't see that happening.

Eta: plus was a Duke assistant coach in the 90s

Chris Collins is an easy name to consider. Northwestern took a step back last season, but he's done a great job at one of the more-difficult places to win and recruiting at a, relatively, high level.

Chris Collins - Nrothwestern
Steve Wojokowski - Marquette
Tommy Amaker - Harvard
Mike Brey - Notre Dame
Jeff Capel - Pitt
Quinn Snyder - Utah Jazz

1.Billy Donovan
2.Quinn Snyder

Dont trust any of the college Duke guys with the program. At least not yet, but if they go with a Duke guy, I would think Collins and Wojo would be the top two options right now.

Won’t hire a non duke guy or Quinn Snyder. I believe coach K wants the guy from Marquette but he hasn’t won much. I would bet Harvard coach Amaker

Coach K has actually been dead for a few years. It's been "Weekend at Krzyzewski's" ever since.
