I would have bet money on the Cubs being in the top 10.

Same. Wisconsin dudes can drink and the team's mascot is named after beer makers. Shame on you Milwaukee, shame.

Lots of California cities towards the bottom with the outlier being San Diego.

I’m surprised Mets fans aren’t in the top 10. Also, the 50 people that show up for Marlin games must go to just drink. Like stopping by the bar on the way home from work.

If you had to watch the White Sox play all the time, you’d drink heavily too.

Ballpark prices play a huge factor in this

Watching the White Sox on WGN as a kid, Hawk Harrelson always struck me as your angry, drunk uncle who loved the team so much he hated them.

Dude a beer is like $20 at AT&T Park.
And they serve all these craft beers with higher ABVs so fans probably only buy one.

There is no way they are averaging 4 drinks per fan. That seems like a shite ton to average

Not surprising. Who could forget father-son night at Comiskey.

They must limit the amount of beer they sell at Phillies games
No way they are last

We love our beer here in San Diego.

To be fair, the father admitted they were Cubs fans.
Still not surprising though. You have the old Irish, Polish and Lithuanian neighborhoods down there. Cops and firemen live nearby. Throw in the Hispanics, and the white trash from the burbs, and there will always be lots of drinking. Can't wait to go back to a game.

Self-reported survey data on alcohol consumption. Take with a massive grain of salt.
