One guys had to face a lot more opponents in bigger games. If you play against 9 super bowl defenses your stats are gonna sag a little

Not based on stats.

On success.

Would you say having the 25th best defense or 2nd best defense helps success?

And would you say more tds, less ints, more accuracy, and more yards helps or hurts success?

Do i get the defenses of each, plus the refs, nfl, and media fawning all over me no matter what?

Cause then Brady.

Otherwise, in their primes, im always taking Brees. frick the rest.

Nah, instead of one having an awful defense and one having an elite defense, pretend in this scenario they both have the same defense

Look im with you on this one.

I think Brees is the most under-respected athlete, possibly, in all of pro sports history.

As a QB, Brady simply isnt a better QB than Brees.

Brees is the most accurate passer of all time. He is as good in the pocket as anyone ive ever seen.

The only thing people will say is that Brady is more clutch.

Well im sorry. But its not Brees fault that he was clutch in 2011 against SF and they drove down and scored with no time left. Its not his fault that he was clutch against Minnesota in 2018 and they hit a hail mary. Its not Brees fault that he drove his team down the field and set up a game winning kick to go to the superbowl in 2019 and the refs made the worst call of all time.

Brees is fricking NAILS.

That being said there is a difference between best, greatest, and who would you take (all things being equal) scenarios.

Greatness has a lot of intangible bull shite attributed to it and i have no problem calling Tom tGOAT even if i dont think hes the best.

That doesnt mean id pick him to insert into a hypothetical situation over QBs i think are technically better.
