That near goal came 5:45 into extra time, I can't imagine what Fergie would have had to say about that

Well this was a fun match.

Can't say I'm pleased with the result, I would have preferred to see a draw but oh well.

My prediction was spot on. Cant be frustrated, playing an away game, minus your captain/best player. Give up 2 soft goals, a pk that many refs have let go, and an own goal.

Not to mention a young, unproven Arsenal squad dominated the second half, and were denied by the crossbar, and two keeper saves. My outlook on this team is better than going into this game surprisingly which is weird

Oh and is this ref a joke or what? 9 yellows, a pk, and a booting off.

ManU certainly isn't anywhere near last year's squad. They were deadly on offense, this squad other than Rooney didn't put any fright into the defense.

gotta love english supporters. can you imagine if this was in argentina or somewhere and wenger stands in front of the fans like that? they'd be hurling "missiles" at him like crazy, the man utd fans just cheer sarcastically

Wenger was the frickin man there. Ultimate balls. I hope he's suspended, because that was awesome.

Berbatov should have started the game. United can't play with 1 uptop.

I heard mid game last season he gave out most yellows, and pk's.

The 4th official is a vagina for booting Wenger, I guess he just got tired of hearing Wenger complain to him about rough challenges.

To be fair, Wenger was bitching the entire game. He should have just shut the frick up.

It did the job though, come second half the ref finally called calls he skipped out on first half, against ManU. But yes, the 4th was looking for any excuse he could to get Wenger out of his ear.

I really can't wait for Arsenal to get their full squad back. Last season I knew ManU was leagues better than anyone else, but this year Arsenal with a full squad looks primed and ready to take the silverware. Chelsea also looks pretty scrappy, not dominant, but able to pull out results.

He was making bad calls both ways in the first half though, he was shitty all around. He didn't favor either team.
