Where to stay for The Masters?

Obviously, everything in Augusta is sold out. For those that have been, what city did you stay in or which to you recommend?

If you want to see the top tier of professional paid golf go to a LIV event.

I stayed 12 minutes from the course in a shitty but perfectly safe and normal hotel the night before. I’d say no worse than a La Quinta. I was invited last minute and got the room a month out.
Let me go figure out what this place was called.

Subtle “I can afford a hotel room” brag.

Rent a room from "Rooms" on Terrace in Baton Rouge and then fly in-and-out every day.

Hope your shoe laces get stuck in your bike chain, and ya knock out your two front teeth.

Have a buddy in Aiken, SC, who rents his house out every year for the Masters

I’ll let ya stay with me and drive you round trip so you don’t have to stay in Augusta for a ticket

You should be able to figure this out. You say Augusta is sold out for hotels and I presume all others such as VRBO. There is a thing called a map where you can look at towns and cities around Augusta. Then you can check to where there is availability. You might be 20 miles or 40 miles away but who knows until you search? But let’s be honest here. That’s not what you are here for even though you pretend that is what you are fishing for. In reality, you got selected in the lottery for a round and are so excited that you used this for a vehicle to let a board of random people know you are going. Subconsciously pining to get wrapped up in some back and forth conversations about the experience to hold you over until April. Nothing wrong with the way you tried to engage the topic. I see that you are probably a good guy and didn’t want to come off as bragging so you just went this route instead.

We rent the same house that we have for a few years now that’s about 15 minutes away.
Bonus…they’re LSU people.
