I wouldn't be so quick with that. There was a lot of speculation of him going to USC a number of years ago, and that same speculation is back with Sark being canned.

South Carolina. Miami would make me happy, only thing that scares me with the Canes is them having an opening if Strong gets fired.

I think the AAC is going to raise the pay of its top coaches. Those coaches right now would be the houston coach, the memphis coach, and the temple coach.

These three teams are all doing a great job. These three coaches are doing well at a high level right now. They know their recruiting territory, the AAC is quickly gaining popularity, and honestly I don't understand why they would leave for a bad job where they have to build something up.

Miami is not really a great job to take at this point. People saw Golden fail there. Why would someone want to go to a lower rung P5 conference team and try to rebuild when they can get paid a great salary of over a million a year and build a brand?

I understand the short term salary would be twice as high if not more, but long term stability has a ton going for it.
